In partnership with Eldercare, we are inviting voluntary carers to enjoy a free pampering session at a friendly open day on 16th June, as part of Carers Week 2017.

Seakr and Eldercare are hosting the free event in order to give something back to individuals who are providing voluntary care in the Sutton area.

Taking place at The Eldercare Store in Carshalton Beeches, visitors can enjoy a free aromatherapy hand or shoulder massage, complimentary refreshments and meet other local carers.

Ian Rajan, founder of seakr, commented: “Caring for a loved one can be a rewarding but extremely challenging job. The carer puts others first in every situation but their hard work is rarely recognised.

“We’ve teamed up with Eldercare to celebrate the dedication of voluntary carers in the community. We want them to enjoy a relaxing treat where they can meet like-minded people.”

The open day takes place between 10am – 3pm at The Eldercare Store, 146 Stanley Park Road, SM5 3JG. The event is free to attend and there is no need to book.

Carers Week is an annual campaign which aims to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to society.
